Beara Beara in London Fashion Week

The past few months have flown by and after a particularly eventful week, I at last have an opportunity to reflect. Last Saturday we took part in the Angels of Fashion show as part of London Fashion Week. It was a fun day with lots of excitement, new people and new experiences.
Our show lasted approximately six minutes but which felt like six seconds from behind the scenes as we rushed to change bag styles from one model to the next and throw them back out on the runway for another round of composed posturing. The models were amazingly composed and did us proud. I decided on a quick wave after the finale in place of the almost obligatory long walk of appreciation and ever since I have been ridiculed because of my lack of cooperation. I did not think I deserved particular recognition but mostly wanted to avoid the embarrassing spectacle that was the on-runway interview by the over zealous host. Overall it was a great day had by all and we now look forward to bigger and better things. You can check out a little amateur video of the show here -> http://bit.ly/16dA7Dx
The last few months have also seen the brand appear in several magazines and also worn by celebs such as Fearne Cotton and Sarah Jane Crawford. This recognition is of course most welcomed, however, what is more important to us is that we have been receiving a lot of appreciative emails from Beara Beara customers such as Georgina from Australia who emailed us to say, ‘I never thought I would spend more than £100 on a bag but I have used my Santa Rosa satchel everyday for over a year now and it gets nicer and nicer and now I’m thinking what a bargain it was. Thank you soooo much for making such wonderful bags’. Hearing from happy customers makes us feel very proud of what we are doing and is much more important to us than seeing our bags in the magazines.
In the past month the brand has also been covered by some of the top bloggers in the world. Ebba Zingmark has been a strong supporter of ours for a while now and covered the Emilia http://ebbazingmark.devote.se/blogs/26837041/leaving-on-a-monday.htm and Mya http://ebbazingmark.devote.se/blogs/26919852/cmon-cmon-cmon.htm recently. Elle-May from Australia looks absolutely stunning with the Tan Santa Cruz http://elle-may.tumblr.com/ and Be Frassy showcased the New Carla Shopper http://www.befrassy.net/2013/08/western-boho.html. Please check out our facebook page next week https://www.facebook.com/BearaBeara for another amazing American blogger called I Am Gala sporting our El Dorado Satchel with some serious style.
The business has expanded it’s international reach and now showcases in Paris and St Tropez in France, Leuven in Belgium and we are delighted to announce that we will also be launching a concession within the store A-Land in Seoul in October.
Thank you to everyone who has been following the business’s progress and we at the Beara Beara HQ would appreciate any feedback and especially photographs that you might send us.
Warm regards. Jake Bullough
