— We have been using a variety of clothes in our bag designs since our inception in 2012. First it was antique aquayos from Bolivia. These shawls were used for everything from carrying vegetables to babies and were made by hand in each community. We then began designing and making new cloths so as not to remove too many cultural artefacts from the community. We still work with a family who use a large handloom to create these cloths in brilliant bright colours.

— Another cloth that we began making several years ago is tartan. It was a respectful homage to the Scottish culture and our connections with the country. We currently make two patterns and lay them as inside linings in four different styles. Our designs are inspired by a vintage look. A classic and rather old school look on the outside and then with a more fun personality of a tartan on the inside.

We hope you like them.
