BEARA BEARA VIDEO STORY

Having grown so fast over the past two years, one thing that I have neglected or simply have not had time for is really showing the work that we do in Bolivia. The brand in the UK is very important but it wouldn’t exist had we not setup such a reliable, creative and hard working workshop is Bolivia. Run by the Reas family we now employ over fifty employees, the vast majority having been trained by us to make bags to a high standard.

We recently went to Bolivia on one of our bi-annual visits to work on our Autumn Winter '15 Collection and brought along the very talented young documentary maker Teresa Fryer. Together we set about trying to capture what the place means to us and what Beara Beara means to our workers.

It was a challenge filming amongst a proud yet very camera shy people, with our cultural differences and language barriers, however, we were determined to capture the natural setting with all its imperfections and oddities.

We hope you enjoy it and that it gives a clearer view of what Beara Beara stands for.
