So as many people have noticed we have been sold out of many of our backpacks and handbags recently. We do apologise for the wait on pre-orders. I can assure you that this is not due to lack of work or planning, however, we had an such an incredibly busy November and December that our stocks have been depleted.

We have employed more staff in our factory and they are as always working very hard to complete these new bags as quickly as possible. There are several things we must be aware of. Firstly we started this factory to enable people to better their own circumstances so our employees work around their family commitments. The last thing we would want to do is make them feel overly pressured into working unreasonable hours, as is the case in many factories in places like Bangladesh and China. They work extremely hard and are rewarded appropriately, however, it’s a thin line between being extremely busy and cracking the whip.

The other thing we must bare in mind is that every leather bag is handmade. We chose not to have automated machines cutting and stitching thousands of bags every day. Some of our bags include up to fifty individual pieces, most of which are cut, stained, stitched and assembled by hand. This ensures the quality and this is a core principle that stands us apart from other leather bag brands.

So I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their patience and I hope you agree that the bags are worth the wait. If you would like to pre-order a bag the new stock will arrive around approx. the 15th of February. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
